The seeds for the English National Championships, to be played at Manchester Velodrome this weekend, were named today.

Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms lost out in the semi-finals of the Yonex Korea Open in Seoul, going down in three games against Denmark's Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Juhl.

Chris Hunt and Simon Archer, combined age 71, are among the entries for the English National Badminton Championships at Manchester Velodrome from February 2-4.

On Saturday 30th December 2006, the second badminton coaching event was held at the Sports Centre in Whiteley village near Fareham, Hampshire.
