Sport England back BADMINTON England participation plans with a "significant" £18 million investment over the next 4 years to support grassroots badminton and talented young players.  

Center Parcs –supported Team England rising star Matthew Nottingham capped a big year in his full debut season on the senior badminton circuit by being named Sports Personality of the Year for Cheshire East last week.

Center Parcs – supported Team England badminton star Marcus Ellis joins forces with new Mixed Doubles partner Alyssa Lim in the new year and predicts a big future for the pair, with the English National Badminton Championships first on their radar.

Center Parcs - supported Team England, who are the No. 4 seeds, will face Latvia and Lithuania in the group stages of the European Mixed Team Badminton Championship in February.

Thirty badminton clubs, representing 24 different counties, have recently been selected to form part of the pilot Club England Evolution initiative which will see BADMINTON England work even closer with the thriving club network this country has to offer. 

Young Center Parcs - supported Team England pair Sophie Brown and Helena Lewczynska produced one of their best wins by knocking out the third seeds at the Carlton Irish International in Dublin.
