Safety is our number one priority at Badminton England. As part of this commitment, it is mandatory for all coaches completing the 1st4Sport Certificate for Coaches in Badminton at Level 2 course to complete the UK Coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop prior to certification. We also highly recommend all coaches complete this workshop every 3 years.

Badminton England runs monthly online workshops. A list of these online workshop can be found here or a list of local face to face workshops can be found here.

Just completed your course? We provide all our newly qualified coaches with a year’s FREE membership* to the Badminton England Coaching Membership scheme. To become a Coaching Member, you are required to complete a DBS check through Badminton England. The cost of this DBS for volunteer coaches is also included in your course fee. If you would like to action this, please complete this form.

* To be entitled to a year’s free membership you must have submitted the form within a month of completing the course.
